at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary |

RESULTS:
Eight teams of birders participated in our 1st annual Great
Marsh Bird Count. A Total of 99 species was found.
A report on the event will be posted soon. See our results
in bird species found by each of the teams. |

place solely at the Marsh, followed by a party to celebrate

$5 or 2 sponsors,
for each team member |

| You are invrted
to form a team and participate in the Great Marsh Bird Count
at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary on Sunday, April 25. Bird
anytime — all the time, if you want — between sunrise
and 2:00 pm. Count the species you can identify by sight or
sound from the trails around the ponds and in the "woodlands"
and along the San Diego Creeek Channel between Campus and Michelson.
Get your friends, family and business associates to sponsor
you. |

| What
is a team? 1
to 4 people. You can bird alone or have up to 3 people join
you. Teams must bird together in one party and at least 2 members
of the team must identify a bird to count it. |

| What
happens at 2:00 pm? Stop
birding, add up your species and turn in your bird list to the
officials at the Marsh. Then join us for Cold Drinks, Pizza,
and Prizes. |
