"Hot Days of Summer"

Sunday, July 20th- 9:00 to 12 noon

Our Audubon naturalists will lead an easy two-hour walk, designed for all ages, at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine on Sunday, July 20, 2008, at 9:00 a.m.

Participants will use binoculars, microscopes, and magnifiers to learn what goes on at the Marsh when Spring comes.

They will be amazed by the variety of plants, birds and other wildlife that are easily seen around the ponds and meadow. We’ll focus on how pollinators bring new life each Summer. The goal of this special quarterly event is to help people discover the fascinating interrelationships in nature during each season at the wetlands.

"Hot Days of Summer” is free but space is limited. Reservations are requested, so phone Audubon House at 949-261-7963 to reserve space for you and your family and friends.

Located at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine near the 405 freeway and Jamboree Blvd.
