Pages for Children
Here
are two coloring pages showing birds which are commonly seen
here in Orange County. The first one shows a House Finch and
a Cliff Swallow. The second one shows a Bullock's Oriole and
an Anna's Hummingbird.
All four of these species nest here in Orange County. The House
Finch and the Anna's Hummingbird are resident here, which means
they live here all year long. The Bullock's Oriole and the Cliff
Swallow are migratory; they come to Orange County to nest in
the spring. All four species can be found at the San Joaquin
Wildlife Sanctuary.
The coloring pages show the birds but do not have any color
on them. You can print a copy "in color" which shows
what colors the birds' feathers are, or you can look at them
here on the webpage. |
