 Monitoring Urban Nesting Raptors
in Orange County

Information is again needed  on raptors nesting  in urban areas and parks within Orange County.  For the past several years, Scott Thomas has been working with a  group of enthusiastic  volunteers collecting data on nesting raptors throughout the county.   As a volunteer under the direction of Pete Bloom, he has been helping to develop a better understanding of urban raptor populations.  If you are interested  in monitoring  nesting  raptors  or  if you  have any  information on them,   please e-mail  Scott Thomas at     or mail him the information at  24911 Hayuco, Mission Viejo CA 92692.    A copy of the monitoring form, on which to record your observations on a nesting owl, hawk, or falcon is below for your to print, fill out, and mail to Scott.
