More Eggs & Incubation
Cyndie reports that there are 296 nests as of May 21; eleven of the nests have 3 eggs in them which is very unusual for this Least Tern colony.

Chicks
Cyndie reports, "The HB Least Terns preserve is continuing to do well. We had a total of 355 nests this past Friday, with only 1 depredation, and 1 possible abandonment. The good news is that we had 6 chicks as well!"

Cyndie reported on July 2nd: "We are still seeing a few chicks hatching, but most of this year's birds are flying already, making them more difficult to count."
