Surfing Day at the Santa Ana River |

This
event will be staged on the sand along the Talbert Channel,
not along the Preserve but on the fire ring side of the Channel.
We will have a table and need 3-4 volunteers from 8:00 am
to 10:00 am to man it and give bird tours.
The organizer seemed very interested in learning about the
birds. David Pryor will be there and I plan to make a photo
poster with the great photos you have been sending me.
This is a great opportunity to share information about the
terns and the preserve with surfers.
