I wanted
to remind you all of our annual season wrap up of tern events
at the
Year End Barbeque Wednesday August 26th, 2009
Where: Huntington
State Beach Lifeguard Headquarters, Magnolia and PCH
When: BBQ
Grill will be ready at 5:30 PM
Who: Anyone
who is interested in California least terns and shorebirds
in general.
Why: Because
we spread you out on separate schedules all season, and now
its time to bring you together.
What: Recognition
for superior performances will be presented, an excellent
2009 slide show, and a day by day list of significant occurrences
will be reviewed.
Bring: BYO
drinks (no alcohol in state facilities), meat, utensils, A-L
salad, M-Z desert.
