Comments: There has been an American Kestrel seen taking chicks from the Preserve this past week. Attempts were made to trap it, but no success yet. Wally & David have placed a few more scarecrows inside the Preserve to continue to keep the crows away.

The season appears to be winding down. We haven't seen any more courting or adults sitting, etc. A special thanks goes out to all the docents who have and continue to volunteer their time.

Until next week . . .
