Least Tern & Snowy Plover Project

April 21 - Earth Day at the Preserve

Earth Day at the Preserve had ~250 people with many doing the beach side cleaning and gleaning of small bits of man-made stuff that washes up. A large weed busting party started with volunteers from different groups, and at least a ton of bagged weedy invasives were pulled from PCH side of the bike path behind the Natural Preserve. All of the Devil's Thorn has been pulled and bagged, and we ask everyone to familiarize themselves with this species, and pull new emerging stems.
