Least Tern/Snowy Plover Project 2007
April 5 - Earthday Event: "Return of the Terns"
Please join Sea and Sage Audubon and California State Parks for "Earth Day"at the California Least Tern Natural Preserve, Huntington State Beach, while we prepare for the "Return of the Terns."
for their 2007 breeding season!

When: Saturday, April 21
Time: 9:00 AM
Where: Huntington State Beach Natural Preserve

Enter the State Beach at Magnolia Street and PCH.
Drive South to the last parking lot near the Santa Ana River.
The entrance fee is waived for all participants.

They usually begin to arrive mid-April.
We will be putting the finishing touches on the preserve to get it ready, just in time for the terns' arrival.
If you can help, please bring "binocs" sunscreen, hat, water, gloves and plan to pitch in.

Or, just bring "binocs" and watch and record incoming Least Terns and other birds along the shore and around the preserve.
