Snowy Plover/Least Tern
2007 Season Kick-off


Peter Knapp, Photographer of the Natural World and Snowy Plover and Least Tern monitor at Bolsa Chica Reserve is our guest speaker. Please come and enjoy his fantastic slide show and lecture about the breeding biology of these local plovers and terns.

Our docent monitoring project at the state beach will be explained by David Pryor, the State Parks Environmental Scientist, and there will be a brief orientation for anyone who is interested in helping the birds this season.
You do not have to be a docent to attend. Please just come and enjoy the slide show. It is amazing!
