I know that many of your have visited Audubon House but probably only a few of you have used our library.  We have a few excellent reference books on birds there, among which are the wonderful 20 volume set of monographs on the Birds of North America. We have a lot of other interesting books as well, but we really feel it is important to add to our collection so that it is more balanced and offers more books of substance for birders with an inquiring mind. 

With this idea in mind, Sylvia Gallagher has provided us with a list of books that she feels would be an important addition to our library collection. Unfortunately, books cost money and some of these are expensive items. Sea & Sage does not have the funds to purchase the entire set without help from you.  A few of you may own one or more of these books and not be using them at home; perhaps you would like to donate one to us.  Others might like to sponsor the purchase of one of the books by paying for it. We will place a special bookplate with your name on it  inside any book that is donated or sponsored. Another way you could help is by contributing funds toward the purchase of one these books. 

Please contact Nancy Kenyon  if you are interested in helping to improve our library by donating or sponsoring one or more of these books.  And, if you have any questions or suggestions for this project, please let us know.

Donated books - from this list - can be delivered to Audubon House. Please remember to  leave your name with the book so that we know who  donated it and  specify that it is for our library.  Checks should be made payable to SEA and SAGE AUDUBON for any sponsorships or donations, and mailed to:  Nancy Kenyon, 32 Almond Tree Ln,  Irvine CA 92612.
